Office manager, program administrator, artist and kid (big and small) wrangler, Nandini Bose keeps the Kids Thrive ship on course.
Nandini brings a variety of experiences to Kids Thrive. She graduated with a Bachelors of Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne over 20 years ago and started her working life as a lawyer with Slater and Gordon in their Public Liability section.
She chose to leave paid employment when her children were young, but remained in touch by volunteering at the Women’s Legal Resource Group and joining the school council at her children’s primary school. This hiatus also gave her a chance to focus on studying art and pottery; developing an arts practice along the way.
Nandini then re-entered the workforce by joining the Docklands Chamber of Commerce in 2006. It was a fledgling organisation of Docklands businesses at the time. Nandini contributed to the growth and development of this organisation over 8 years as Administrative and Executive Officer.
In 2014, Nandini went with her heart and joined Kids Thrive as Office Manager. When not office managing, she can also be found singing for Footscray based community choir La La Ville.
